A great big thank you to everyone who contributed to making Friday a fantastic success.
The amount raised a whopping £715 for the chosen charity "soul for heroes" which will be given to them shortly.
The gremlins seemed to have returned on friday as the amp tripped out a couple of times again so if any one has any ides as to why this happens we would appreciate your comments as we have tried everything to elevate the problem and the amp and speakers were supposed to be perfectly matched.
Other than that the night went great the raffle went off well with the led display proving to be a great idea enabling us to keep the music going and not having to stop for the raffle numbers to be called.
A great big thanks to all the DJ's for giving up their time and expertise in aid of the charity and an extra special thanks to our guest DJ from Norfolk Dave Eglen who played a crackin set which was commented on by quite a few customers well done Dave.
Thanks to Deb's Leonard for helping out with the raffle prizes and once again thanks to you all for attending on the night to support such a worth while cause.
Thank you to the anonymous person who handed the lost wallet in to the bar staff you honesty is greatly appreciated.
We hope to see you all again next month for another great Birchly night

Well i went to the irish club last saturday night, had a great time and was made very welcome, there was about 60 soulies there.
I have been busy at the bakery every night since, lotsc to learn, and im getting used to working nights.

We had another fantastic night at Birchley Friday, yet again ALL the DJ's played fantastic music all night.
I can honestly say we have never been let down by our residents or the guest we have asked to the club.
Again Mike & Ste got the place bouncing from their first track to the last, the dance floor was packed right through their set these guys will be invited back time and again.
Thanks to the Denton crew for paying us a visit it was great to see you all again and we will be returning the compliment on the 28th.
Thanks to all our regular supporters who come month in month out you are the heart and soul of the club.
And thanks to all the new faces that were there on Friday it is always good to see new people we look forward to seeing you again.
And a final big thank you to the staff at the club for putting up with us every month.

Just a few words to say how much i enjoyed your 2nd Anniversary on Friday.
This was my first time at Birchley St Marys but it won't be my last, the music was superb and i was made to feel very welcome by all concerned.

Once again thank you all for making Friday another great night at Birchley.
I think we have actually solved the sound gremlins with this month being problem free, the replacement amp held up brilliantly with everything being loud and clear.
The music yet again was spot on with all the guys playing excellent sets.
Both Ste and Eddie played some great different tracks which went down really well keep it up boys the customers were loving it.
An extra special thanks goes to Freddie Turner for being our guest this month, Freddie got the floor rocking from track one and kept up the pace right through his set.
Then we had Al Kinsella one of the northwests favourite Dj's doing what he does best getting keeping the dance floor thumping
The room was nice and cool although it was a quite warm night thanks to the new air con which was much appreciated by all of us.
I think I can say it was asucessful 2nd aniversary all round and we are looking forward to the third.

Ok the honeymoon is over so i had better get around to thanking all the team, you all made our wedding night such a memorable one. We fad had such a perfect day with family and friends following the wedding, we thought it couldn't get better, how wrong we were. We recieved the usual warm welcome and congratulations, the table set out with balloons and champagne was such a lovely touch thank you all so much. As the night progressed it just got better and better the music superb the people Fantastic. A big thanks to all those who made an effort we both really appreciated it. We so look forward to the second Friday of every month as we know there is a fun night ahead. However as good as it is i do have one big criticism (sorry guys) It should be twice monthly !!!!!! Again thanks to the St Mary's crew for all your efforts. Ste and She.

Although it sounded great it stil wasn't right.
So hopefully for next month we wil have a new one or this one repaired and back in time for our 2nd aniversary.

What a crackin' night we had Friday everything went great the sound system was free from gremlins this month and the numbers were up again.
The wedding party who were two of our regular guests and members of their families all seemed to be enjoying themselves right till the end.
Our good friends Jo and Eric played a fantastic set with loads of positive feedback from everyone and as usual the lads pulled out all the stops to deliver some fantastic music all night.
The only downside seemed to be the heat, apparently the air con was down and will be fixed on monday so hopefully next month it will be back on and blowing a "hoolie"
We hope everyone enjoyed the night as much as we did and we look forward to doing it all again next month. so let me thank you all again for your continued support as it really would not be the same without you all.

I am a regular are birchley, come with my friend Dee Turner, and in May I brought my another friend who has cerebral palsy, and I mention that only because he was limited on the dance floor. Everyone made him welcome and went out of their way to make the night pleasurable for him despite his limitations. We will be here next week, to this wonderfull place that has a warm welcome for all. First of all my wife and I, try to travel all over the Country to Different Northern Venus. Just came back from Torquay weekender, was a great Venue the weather, well Bad but as always in the Northern circle People Fantastic. Now to Birchley.
The Plus
1 / Two Fantastic Ladies on the door well worth a 300 mile trip just to see them.
2/ Atmosphere is fantastic every one so friendly
2/ Music, well best in the country playing to the Floor not the Djs
3/ Dance floor, wooden real pleasure to dance on.
4 Plenty of Seats. For you and your friends
4 Great bar staff helpful and friendly AND THE Bar Prices really good.
5/ large free car park
6/ Every penny you spend is put back into the Club as you will see.
7/ if you need accommodation there is a Premier in about Half a mile away Approx £3.50 in taxi
8 / bring your Cameras as you have to see the Dancing Dj, Mr Al Kensella. Well come back Al & Chris
Now the down side :0(
1/ when you first arrive, the two lovely ladies on the door will be ever so pleased to see you. BUT if there is a tall Gentleman with a goatee whatever you do donât shake his hand. Or like me you will be crippled with arthritis, as he has a grip like steel. trust me just hug the girls :0).
2/ every now and again this little fella turns up spinning on the dance floor. He doesnât bite but Iâm sure they Modelled there badge on him. I think his name is Webby, just donât feed him and he goes anyway hahaha
All in All for me and my wife we score it 10 out of 10 for Birchley St Marys

Can I just say a big thanks again for your continued support I would like to take the opportunity to appologise to everyone for the sound quallity on Friday.
As a lot of you will know we are upgrading and changing the equipment on a regular basis to achieve the best sound quality possible for a better night's entertainment.
When we set the gear up in the afternoon it sounded great but as the night progressed the quality seemed to dip.
We seemed to have got it spot on last month then bought a new mixer and it didnt seem as good this month for some reason, so next month we will go back to the old mixer and see if that resolves it..
We hope this didn't spoil your enjoyment of what turned ot to be another great night at Birchley
