What a perfect way to celebrate Birchley's 3rd anniversary, only with such good friends and truly great guys, Mike Walker and Ste Jones, could it be a roaring sucessful night, they played a blinder at the decks. Both of the guys have a long history on the soul scene, and bring all their knowledge and talents to stage when they play a spot. Their objective, at Birchley, was to entertain the crowd and fill the floor.

We must also thank our resident DJs for a job superbly done over the last 3 years. This month we welcomed 'Dolly' of Bolton Soul club, who is a favourite and regular at the club, he joined our line-up of resident DJs. He has filled the spot of Ste Deane, who due to family commitments stepped down last month; we miss him, as he was at Birchley from the beginning. We look forward to seeing him at Birchley in the future and wish him all the best in everything he does. Where would we be without Big Al K... he's a star and knows exactly how to please the crowd, wherever he plays. Finally we have Webby and Eddy who finish the night for Birchley and over the last 3 years have grown in confidence at Birchley’s decks. They too know what the Birchley crowd like to dance to, and provide it for them. Many, many thanks to all the DJs who have played a part, over the past 3 years, in making Birchley the success it has been so far, which goes to prove, we don't have to look to far for top class DJs, they're right on our doorstep! KTF

With the continued support of the regulars at the club, we look forward to celebrating a 4th year of fantastic sounds and good company.
