Who said Friday the 13th was unlucky, not for the soulies at Birchley, this month. It was one of our best nights, without a doubt. Guest DJs for the evening were, our very own ‘Chisser’ from St Helen’s Soul Club, who is a regular at the

club and knows what the Birchley gang like to hear. He played some of ‘Soul @ Joes’ sounds, always good to hear and a few alternatives, keeping everyone on their toes. Chisser is one of the scenes gent’s, he listens to individuals to meet their tastes in music, but keeps an eye on the floor and listens to his heart. A brilliant spot, as ever, Thanks Chisser!

Her energy was infectious, as soon as she entered the club she was on the dance floor, and stayed there until it was time for her spot, she was dynamite. The punters loved her, the floor looked like a dance marathon. From start to finish her set hit the spot right on the mark, a brilliant DJ and a truly genuine person with a heartfelt love for the music. Sam will be back next year… a second chance for those who missed a great night. Many thanks to Sam, and partner Andy, for making the long journey.
